Shhhh. You hear that? It’s the sound of Facebook changing your email.

Of course you can go in and change which email appears on your timeline. This unique number now precedes “@Facebook.com” unless you chose a specific URL for your Facebook page way back when.

Although, choosing a unique Facebook URL does not mean you were assigned a specific (non-numerical) address. Send a test message to the address and you’ll see a note pop up in your Facebook “messages”. If you haven’t checked your “Other” inbox in a while, you might find a few notes there too.

When we select another primary email and try to remove the Facebook address, we hit an error message. How about you?
