Shhhh. You hear that? It’s the sound of Facebook changing your email.

Of course you can go in and change which email appears on your timeline. This unique number now precedes “” unless you chose a specific URL for your Facebook page way back when.

Although, choosing a unique Facebook URL does not mean you were assigned a specific (non-numerical) address. Send a test message to the address and you’ll see a note pop up in your Facebook “messages”. If you haven’t checked your “Other” inbox in a while, you might find a few notes there too.

When we select another primary email and try to remove the Facebook address, we hit an error message. How about you?
