There are many rules and guides that have surfaced for the industry of Social Media, but did you know that Dr. Seuss wrote one?
Well, Ragan.com did a little research and pulled together Dr. Seuss’ spot on guidebook for diving into the world of Social Media. Below are a few of our favorites:
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.”
Translation: Be authentic and original. Make people want to follow you for your unique ideas and attributes.
“So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads.”
Translation: Short and sweet. No need to write a novel, make your point and move on.
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
Translation: There are social guidelines to what is acceptable on social networks. Be conscious of others while remaining true to yourself.
“Oh, the things you can find if you don’t stay behind!”
Translation: Dedicate time to learn new things! Research and play around with the latest beta. Who knows the fun waiting around the corner.
